A lot of these women have had surgeries and have lost weight, but they still stay involved with the community. But I also think that it's easier to say, "This is what I am interested in so I am going to message this person," and the same thing goes for men who are interested in BBW women.
In the past women of all ages up to about 45 prefer, on average, a man a few years older. Time magazine reports that when it comes to online dating, a woman is five times more likely to show interest in a man five years her junior than one who is five years older.
